Weather Conditions
The 2020 vintage is a vintage of contrasts. The winter was exceptionally rainy. The spring was warm and humid, almost tropical. Downy mildew thrived. The early flowering occurred variably depending on the grape varieties, terroirs, and weather conditions at the time.
Then, just before summer, the rain stopped to give way to dry and rather temperate weather until the approach of veraison. From that point on, heat, sometimes very intense, dominated the period. The mid-August storms were necessary and allowed the vine to continue its cycle until harvest. Sometimes irregular flowering and extremely dry conditions resulted in rather low yields in most situations. Harvested early, the grapes were well-ripened and produce generous wines.

Tasting Notes
Purple robe. Both expressive and complex, with beautiful finesse. The nose is of great purity, with aromas of coffee, accompanied by floral touches. Beautiful energy, the fruit is present, crunchy and juicy. The tannins are supple, the texture is delicate, velvety. The finish is tense and precise.
This is a distinguished wine; time will allow it to assert itself!
