Basmati rice is a variety of naturally flavored rice. It is a long and very thin grain cream colored rice with a delicate nutty aroma. This aroma and texture make Basmati rice the most sought after in the world. The name “Basmati” comes from the hindi, meaning “queen of perfume”.
